It’s a time most military families are familiar with, time for Jordan to deploy again. I debated whether or not to share this and for obvious security reasons, I won’t go into detail, but it’s a very big part of our life and that is what I share with you all here so, I’m sharing.

We were really fortunate to have jobs at our last duty station that didn’t require us to deploy, but we knew once we moved back here it would be back on the table. So, here we are with a deployment right around the corner. It will probably be a little harder on the kiddos this time since he will be missing the holidays, but thankfully we are closer to family now and we have great neighbors and friends. We’ll be traveling to Grammy and Grampy’s house for Thanksgiving and my little sister and her family are coming to keep us company at Christmas. They will also be distracted by school and activities.

As for me, I will definitely be missing my best friend, but I have a big list of projects that I want to tackle while he’s gone and hopefully keeping busy will keep me distracted. Having 2 more kids this deployment will also keep me busy 😜! And, if any of you have any great movies or Netflix series I should watch, let me know!

As hard as deployments are, I really am proud of Jordan and he has my support in everything he does, especially in his military career. He knows he can count on me to take care of things here at home so he can focus on what he needs to do.

I probably won’t have much to tell after this, but I will let you know when he returns home safe and sound. Thank you all for following along on this ride with me all these years and your support. I started this blog to share my ideas and various home projects with friends and family scattered across the cou try, but it has turned into something greater than that. I am so grateful for this creative outlet and that you all like and follow along. I have been working harder lately to put out more content for you and this deployment will give me an opportunity to pour more energy into this little blog of mine. Y’all are the best!!
