Fall in the Kitchen

One of the first things that comes to mind when I think about Fall is baking. I do tons of baking this time of year and now my girls have grown to love baking. It’s something we love to do together and when the holiday season rolls around, they start talking about all the goodies we are going to make. We don’t have much space for holiday decorations in our kitchen, but I knew I had to give it a little Fall love since we will be spending so much time together in here this season.

I picked up this pumpkin bread for my girls to make. They’re not quite at scratch baking level yet, so these mixes are perfect for them to practice with.

One of our favorite things to do during Fall is visit our local farms. We go apple picking, pumpkin picking, go for hayrides and of course take advantage of all the Fall goodies they bake up at these farms. Our favorite goodie is apple cider donuts. They are delicious and we get them by the bag full!

I have been wanting some cotton stems for a while now. I finally picked some up at Hobby Lobby for 40% off in their Fall sale and they look great in Jordan’s great grandmother’s pitcher.

This cute chalkboard sign from Kirklands has had a lot of use over the years. This candle is also from Kirklands. I picked it up recently and it smells amazing!

Happy baking season, y’all!!
