Good morning!! I feel like I have been teasing all of you with a Christmas tour for weeks now. As most of you know, I put the decorations up pretty early this year so that Jordan could enjoy a little Christmas before he left. I have been adding here and there and tweaking a few things, but I am finally ready to share with you all. You’ll notice that I didn’t use a lot of traditional Christmas color in here this year, but I promise you, it is not short on Christmas spirit and it is plenty cozy. Come on in, friends. I hope you like it and find a little inspiration for your own homes!
For the living room, I chose whites, creams and soft pinks.
This tree is my all time favorite. It is so soft and fluffy and snowy! I flocked my trees this year and as messy a task as it was, it was totally worth it. The snowy branches make the lights seem even brighter.
All of these stockings are from Hobby lobby. I got the knit ones a few years ago and picked up the ones with bells this year to replace my red ones. They were only $5.99 each, on sale. The pretty glass trees and the Merry sign are from Homegoods.
These little Christmas terrariums were so simple to make. I used these small dessert stands from my sweet mother-in-law, tiny trees from Hearth and Hand at Target, fake snow and these tiny pinecones my girls found in the yard.
Now into the dining room and onto the next tree. Yes, I have 2 trees this year. Yes, I know 2 is excessive, but I just couldn’t help myself. I got this one from the thrift store for only $15 so I don’t feel a bit guilty about it!
Blue is the star of the show in this room. I love how it coordinates with the room’s everyday color scheme. It’s like my whole room is decorated just for Christmas. It’s almost like I planned it that way! 😉
The hot cocoa bar got a major upgrade this year. I added lots of topping to jazz up the girls’ chocolate goodness and put them in these cute little jars. And bonus, I got to reuse this cupcake stand that my awesome father-in-law made for our wedding!
And here is the tree. She isn’t that tall, but she makes up for that in width! She fills about a 3rd of the office area.
Not only did I get this tree at the thrift store, but I found this entire Christmas village, in their original packages, in perfect condition! Some of them needed new lights, but they work great and look so cute!
And finally, the kitchen, where you’ll get to see some of that traditional Christmas red.
Now, you might be thinking, “oh what a great tour, can’t wait to see next year’s”, but I didn’t stop at the main living areas this year. Oh, no. I’m not done. I have more to share. I decorated every room in this house, so I will be sharing a second tour of all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Yes, I know I’m a little nutty, but I’m ok with that so you should be too! Merry Christmas, friends!!
