Do you need an easy and thrifty way to hand out all those holiday goodies you’ve been baking? I did! I had intentions of buying some beautiful tins or packages for my Christmas cookies, but there is just no time for that. So I came up with an easy, but pretty way to package them so I can get them out before the holiday is over already.
First, supplies. You will need some plain brown paper lunch sacks, sandwich ziplock bags, leftover holiday ribbon, and a label. I used a free printable I found on Pinterest and will give you the link later in this tutorial.
Okay second, tools. You need a hole cutter and a pair of scissors. If you don’t have a hole punch, you could just use your scissors to make your holes.
Get your labels ready first. I used these cute chalkboard labels from Worldlabel.com
If you like them, you can find them here. Cut them out and punch a hole in the top.
Place your holiday goodies in your ziplock bags and then put them in your paper sacks. This will prevent the grease from staining your paper sacks and keep your baked goods fresh.
Then fold the top of your brown bag down about an 1″-2″.
Use your hole punch to put holes on both sides of your fold.
Now your gonna grab your left over ribbon and thread it through the holes.
Put both ends through the hole in the top of your label and tie a bow.
And that is it!! So simple and it turned out so cute!
I put a candy cane on there too.
Now I’ve gotta hand these babies out before the holiday is over. 🙂 Merry baking everyone!
You have such good ideas. Thanks for sharing.
